FOXTON POST OFFICE.

Grant under Consideration.

We have received the following letters from Mr John Stevens, member for the district, in reference to the erection of a post office in Foxton to replace the present obsolete and worm-eaten structure: — Parliament Buildings, Wellington, 26th July, 1907. The Proprietor Herald, Foxton. Dear Sir, —Herewith I beg to transmit to you a copy of a letter which I have just received from the Right Hon. the PostmasterGeneral respecting the much desired new Post Office. I think we are right in assuming that the much needed new structure will, in due course, become,a fact.
