HIMITANGI NOTES.

Own Uorrospondi’iit. A very enjoyable euchre party took place at the school house, Himatangi, last night. Sixteen Oroua Bridge euchreists did battle against a similar number of Himatangi players. The home team finally won by four points. Refreshments were provided by the Himatangi euchre party committee. The school-room was crowded. A return party will play at the Bridge at a later date. An artesian bore is being sunk at the creamery. It is down about 460 ft. So far water has not been struck. Mr Turner, of Rongotea, is supervising the work.
