RUSSIA AND JAPAN.
ToKio,June 14. The Japanese Government is restraining the comments of local newspapers on a Russo-Japanese agreement which has been signed at St Petersburg, relating to the Chinese eastern and southern Manchurian railways. St Petersburg, June 14. M. Iswolsky, Minister for Foreign affairs, assured the Duma that the Government had- a firm belief in the stability of peaceful relations between Russia and Japan.
