TANNERS “ ARK” MISSING.
Christchurch, June 12. Tanner’s “ Ark ” left Sumner on Tuesday last for Timarn, and since then no word has been received as to its whereabouts. It is understood that provisions for only three days were taken. The party on board included Tanner, two Christchurch young men named S. Hudson and C. Davis, two from Wellington named J. Dean and W. Wilson, and a new arrival from the Old County named Albert Edwards, who went as eook.
