FOXTON RACING CLUB.
Committee Meeting. A committee meeting of the above was held in the club’s offices on Tuesday evening last. Present: Messrs Jenks ('chair), G. Gray, O. and C. Robinson, C. Hunt, A. E. Shadbolt, A, Raing, A. and J. Symons, and the secretary (Mr Angus Keith). The,president, Mr F. Robinson, wrote declining nomination of president for a further term. — Received. Resolved that letters re conference at Feilding be laid oh the table. The Secretary was instructed to procure necessary drain pipes for draining on the course. Mr H. Denton was recommended for a traiher’s license, and Mr T. O’Brien for a jockey’s license. Resolved that nominations for the position of stewards f and committee for the forthcoming year, be made in writing, and to be in the hands of the Secretary at least seven days before the annual meeting, nominations to be signed by two members of the club. The Secretary was instructed to write defaulters that unless nomination fees are paid within 14 days, the names are to be placed on the forfeit list. Accounts amounting to £5 5s were passed for payment, and after further matters of a minor nature had been discussed the meeting terminated.
