MONSTER DRAPERY SALE.

Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday Next.

We remind the public; of the unreserved slaughter of general drapery, advertised for Saturday, Monday and Tuesday next, in the Masonic Hall, beginning each day at i p.m. The Manufacturers Direct Importing Company import all goods direct. Not a single line of goods has ever been inside a retail store. As a general rule all drapery sold at auction is old shop worn goods. This Company’s goods have been bought direct from manufacturers, shipped direct to New Zealand. The middleman’s profit is thus chopped right out and buyers get first grade useful goods at prices unheard of before. Settlers should therefore make a point of attending the sale and laying in a supply of new and necessary winter goods. As the company intends to hold periodical sales in towns throughout the North Island, it is necessary to place first grade goods on the market, to secure future trade. It would be a foolish thing to sell inferior goods, for such a proceeding would kill all future business. In quilts, gents boots, blankets, rugs, eider downs quilts, fenders, hearth rugs, all-wool dress goods etc. there is a special selection.' A speciality is made of Nottingham lace curtains, the selection of which comprises splendid value. Every curtain is a picture. The goods will be opened up on Friday, and the first day’s sale begins on Saturday, at i p.m. A line that has staggered the public of Feilding and Palmerston, is the choice selection of nine carat gold rings, every one of which is English Hall-marked and sold with a guarantee that every ring will stand the acid test. It will pay you to attend this sale. A standing rule of the Company’s sales is, that every article for which a bid is accepted is knocked down to the highest bidder no matter whether it reaches cost price or not.
