HOCKEY.
Club Formed at Moutoa. Own Correspondent. A meeting was held in the schoolroom on Monday night, for the purpose of forming a hockey club, Mr W. Bowe occupying the chair. It was decided to form a club, and, if possible, put two teams in the field. After some discussion it was eventually resolved that the entrance fee be the nominal one of 2s, but that the players each provide their own gear and the colours be white. The following officers were elected: Patron, Mr F. Easton; President, Mr W. Walden ; Vice-Presidents —Messrs C. Peterson, F. Gardener, and J. Walden; Captain, Mr J. E. Marshall ; Vice - Captain, Mr W. Smith; Delegates—Messrs J. E. Marshall, W. Smith, J. Bowe.
