OUR PANTOMIME.
TO : NIGHT.
To-night the Taylor-Carrington Company appear at the Public Hall, in a new farcical comedy entitled “ Our Pantomime ” ; a play that is claimed by it author to be written and acted “just for fun.” “ Our Pantomime ” is a play that men, women, and children, positively revel in, the fun is pure, plentiful and practical, and unlike most comedies, it is free from ‘ ‘ risque ’ ’ situations and ‘ ‘ double entente” that so often mar such pieces. It is one huge laugh from the rise of the curtain to its fall, and as a mirth-provoker has only two rivals, “Charley’s Aunt” and “The Private Secretary.” “ Our Pantomime ” will be staged with that elaboration of detail and completeness of ensemble for which the Taylor-Carrington management are so justly famous.
