PHYSICAL CULTURE.

Mr Janett’s classes are filling rapidly. ' At the Masonic Hall yesterday evening several more ladies were enrolled, and it is anticipated that a considerable number will join next Wednesday evening, as several ladies have intimated their intention of taking advantage of the course of instruction. Breathing exercises are generally acknowledged to be the natural method of acquiring and retaining the fresh bloom of youth. Under Mr Jarrett’s able tuition the class is making great progress, and all are revelling in the exercises. The men’s and youths’ class last night had more than doubled in number since the opening night. There is still room, however, for a few more members, and the Instructor will be pleased to see all those who have already sent in their names, in attendance next Wednesday night, at 8.15 p.m., also any \yho desire to join and have not intimated their intention of doing so, can obtain all information from this office or Messrs Watchorn and Stiles. Mr Jarrett is anxious that intending members will join next class night, as every new pupil keeps the remainder of the class more or less behind. Foxton bids fair to be one of the most successful classes Mr Jarrett has had under his control.
