FLAXMILLERS’ ASSOCIATION
Auckland, March 21. At a meeting of those interested in the flaxmilling industry, held this morning, about thirty millers were present. Mr E. Frost, chairman of the committee explained that there was a movement to form a Flaxmillers’ Association, but as one was already in existence it was thought advisable to call a meeting of all flaxmillers, so as to have one strong association instead of two bodies. It was resolved that all flaxmillers present join the existing association, and that a committee be formed to draft rules for submission to a future meeting. The fee for membership was fixed at is per annum.
