EASTER ENCAMPMENT.
Palmerston Volunteers to visit Shannon. By Telegraph—Special to Herald. Palmerston, This Afternoon. In consequence of the abandonment of the Easter encampment at Himatangi, the Palmerston Guards have arranged to visit Shannon on Good Friday and to have a shooting match with the local Rifle Defence Club. The other corps here are taking no action regarding work at Easter as far as can be ascertained.
