MOUTOA-SHANNON MAIL ROUTE.

Mr Johnston, mail contractor between Foxton, Levin and Shannon, informs our representative that he does not agree with our remarks re the mail service between Foxton, Mcutoa and Shannon. As the matter is of public interest, especially to the Moutoa settlers, we .have asked Mr Johnston to state the other side of the question, which he has promised to do. We shall also be pleased to publish the opinions of settlers on this question.
