Purchased by a Syndicate. Price Exceeds £40,009. [by TELEGRAPH —SPECIAL TO HERALD.] Palmerston, This Afternoon. Messrs Jupp and Hayes’ flax land, of 1650 acres, part of the Makerua Estate, together with mills and plant, have been purchased by a syndicate, of which H. Greig is managing director. The syndicate intend to work one mill in Foxton and two near Shannon, The price paid is reported to be over ,£40,000. -
