OWING to the impossibility of securing a suitable site for‘a Technical, University, it has now been decided to erect a Public Monument in Wellington to the memory of the late Hon. R. J. Seddon. The movement is intended to be a National Memorial, and it is hoped that the inhabitants of Foxton and its neighbourhood will heartily support the monument. Subscriptions in ■ sum from one .shilling upwards will be gladly received and duly acknowledged.
