CRICKET.
The Foxton representative cricketers had to abandon the match against Peilding which was to have been played at Palmerston to-day. An all day’s match was arranged but Feilding could not put a strong team in the field till afternoon. The local cricketers objected to this consequently the match had to be abandoned.
