THE PAPAKAIO MURDER.
Findlay Gets Five Years For Theft. O AMARU, Feb. 22. At the Supreme Court John Findlay, who was recently acquitted of the murder of W. H. Rennie, was to-day convicted of burglary and theft from Rennie’s house at, or about, the time of the murder. He was sentenced to five years’ imprisonment and adjudged to be a habitual criminal, and to be kept in custody during the pleasure of the Governor at the expiration of the sentence.
