SUICIDES.
Hawera, Feb. 22. William Cody, 58, committed suicide at Otakeho by cutting his throat. A verdict of suicide while of unsound mind was returned at the inquest, Wellington, Feb. 22. A civil engineer named E. Buzenac shot himself with a revolver at his lodgings this morning. Death was instantaneous. Deceased, who was about 50, complained at the breakfast table that his fellow-lodgers made fun of him, and he went to his room and shot himself.
