The following is the result of the drawing for the Club’s Competition Fours, which took place at Mr Rough’s rooms last night:— First heat—A. E. Shadbolt (stroke), J. Scia Scia (3), Sammy Maou (2), K. Furrie(bow). R. G. Hickson (stroke), J. Jeffery (3). A. E. Shadbolt, jnr. (2), R. Grace (bow). ,-jSecond heat—W. Gordon (stroke), Frankland (3), J. Gillespie (21, W. Shields (bow). W. J. Gardner (stroke) McGonagle (3) A. J., Imrie (2) E. Walker (bow) ■ Bye—H. McKegney (stroke) J, Barnbridge (3), M. Littlejohn (2), W. Royal (bow).
First heat takes place on Wednesday afternoon, February 20th, at 4 p.m. Secnnd heat on Thursday evening, Feb, 21st, at 6.30 p.m. Semi-final on Wednesday, 27th Feb., at 4 p.m., and final on Friday, March Ist, 'at 6.30 p.m. The course will be from the Maori Hill to the bottom end of Railway wharf.
Any of the crew’s not turning up to time will forfeit the race.
it is necessary that the strokes should interview their crews and get them into training at once as the Club is looking forward to a regatta as the outcome of this competition.
