REVOLUTIONARY OUTBREAK

•C* Trouble in the Argentine. Fondon, Feb. 8. Advices have been recceivd from Buenos Aires that a revolutionary outbreak has occurred in the province of San Juan in the Argentine. The trouble is due to difference on local questions between the towns of San Juan and Argentina. Fighting has taken place, with loss of life, besides many being wounded. Governor and Ministers of the province are reported to be prisoners. Federal intervention has been decided upon. Buenos Aires, Feb. Bth Senor Sarmiento, leader of the San Juan revolutionaries, has overthrown the Provincial Government after a five hours’ conflict. The Nationalist Government has issued a decree in favour of Federal intervention in San Juan. New York, Feb. Bth. It is reported that a body of Honduras troops has invaded Nicaragua. There is a rupture of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The United States cruiser Chicago has been despatched Irom San Francisco, and the cruiser Yorktown is to follow, but it is hoped that efforts at arbitration which have been initiated in the city of San Salvador will avert a Central American war.
