SANITARY MATTERS.

There appears to be a feeling in certain quarters that the Borough Council is not doing v/hat it might in respect to the sanitary affairs of the borough. This is not correct, as evidence the fact that a person was convicted for insanitary arrangements at the recent sitting of the local S.M. Court. We concede that the sanitary condition of the borough is not all one could wish but the Council and its officers are doing their best to keep residents up to the mark. In the near future a comprehensive scheme dealing with water supply and drainage will no doubt be discussed by the Council, until that time arrives the officials will not be found lacking in their duties if the Council can help it.
