RAISING.
Mr Angus Keith, Secretary of the local Club, has arrangements well in hand for the meeting to be held on Tuesday and Wednesday next. A number of horses to compete in the struggle for supremacy have already arrived. The recent rains have freshened up the course and everything promises for a successful gathering. The catering arrangements will be carried out by Messrs Langley Bros, whose reputation is a sufficient guarantee that patrons will be well served in this particular. The Club notice elsewhere gives a timely warning to bookmakers, their clerks or agents.
