OBITUARY.
J. G F. Blow.
We regret to have to announce the decease of Mr John George Fordham Blow, which took place at the residence of his daughter, Mrs James Barber, at the corner of Robinsoh and Kaston streets, at 2. p.m. yesterday. The deceased gentleman was a colonist of nearly 35 years standing, but had not been residing long in Foxton, where, consequently, he was not very well known, but in Stratford, Taranaki, he was a well-known figure, and formerly in Wellington. The late Mr Blow was a native of St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, and had attained the ripe old age of 85 years at the time of his decease. He was married twice, but had a widower tor over forty years. He was the father of six children, two of whom pre-deceased him, and two others reside out of the colony one in England and one in South Africa. The two who remain to mourn his loss in New Zealand are Mrs James Barber, ot hoxton, at whose house he died, and Mr H. J. H. Blow, the Undersecretary of the Public Works Department in Wellington. Ihe funeral takes place at the Foxton Public Cemetery at 3.30 this afternoon.
