SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

The monthly meeting of the

-above was held in the Borough Council Chambers on Thursday evening. Present Messrs Clemett (chair), Barnard, Franklaud, Betty and the Secretary (Mr Wilson.

Xhe meeting was adjourned for a short period out of respect to the memory of the late Mr H. Austin, a former member of the Committee

Several subscription lists for the prize tund were handed in and proved very satisfactory. It was reported that the new headmaster had arrived and taken up _hisresidees&-P-i4he School. _
