Maiden Hack Hurdles, of Co sovs; second horse to receive 10 sovs and the third horse 5 sovs from the stakes. Over six flights of hurdles 3ft Cm high. Open to horses that have never won a hurdle race or steeplechase at time of starling. Weight, git ylbr. Winner of any Hack Flat race to carry rolbs extra ; of an Open Flat race 21 lbs extra. Entrance, 30?. Distance : One mile and a half. 3. FOX 1 ON CUP (Open), of 210 sovs ; second horse to receive 35 sovs and third horse 20 sovs from the stakes. Nomination, 20s ; acceptance, 60s ; Distance : One mile and a quarter. 4. Trial Hack Race, of 60 sovs; second horse to receive 10 sovs and the third horse 5 sovs from the stakes. Moutoa Welter Handicap (Open), of 85 sovs; second Irorse to receive 10 sovs and third horse 5 sovs from the stakes. Minimum weight, Bst. Nomination, 20s; acceptance, 20s. Distance: One mile, NOMINATIONS, WEIGHTS, ACCEPTANCES. Nominations for all events except Maiden Hack Hurdles, and Trial Hack Race (first day) and Maiden Hack Scurry (second day), close with the Secretary, at Foxtou, on Saturday, January SUI, 1907, at 9 p.m. Weights for First Day will be declared on or about January nth. Acceptances for First Day and Entries for Maiden Hack Hurdles and Trial Hack Race (first day), and Maiden Hack Scurry (second day) close on Tuesday, January 15th, 1907, at 9 p.m. Weights for Second Day’s Races will be declared on Tuesday, January 22nd, 1907, at about 8 pm. Acceptances close same evening at 9.30, Rules and Regulations. Penalties. —Flat Races—The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry a penalty of rolbs, and of every additional race a further penally of ylbs. Horses handicapped at Bst lolb or over to carry half the above penalties. Hurdle Races —The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights .to carry a penalty of lolbs in the hurdle race, and ot every additional race a further penalty of 7lbs. Definition of a Hack.—A Hack means a horse that has not at time of entry won a race of the value of 100 sovs, or races of the collective value of 250 sovs, No horse will be allowed to start whose fees are unpaid. » Entries by telegram must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. No betting allowed on the course except through the medium of the Totalisator. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the date or time for receiving nominations and acceptances as they may deem fit.
