SUPREME COURT.
Nelson, December 18,
The Supreme Court opened before Sir Robert Stout, Chief Justice, to day. There was only one criminal case, that against Thos. Dixon Douglas for stealing a watch and chain from Frederick Eaves at Ferntown during a drinking bout. He had previously borne a character, and was sentenced to six' months’ imprisonment. Civil business is now proceeding.
