Palmerston, Yesterday,
A poll on the propsal to borrow £20,000 for the completion and extension of the new sewer was taken to-day, the proposal being carried by 370 votes to 151. Two months ago a similar proposal was rejected. jlad the loan proposal not been carried, the Council intended obtaining the necessary money by order of the Health Department.
