THE PORTSMOUTH RIOTS.

The court-martial in connection with the recent stokers’ riot at Portsmouth ordered Lieutenant Collard to be reprimanded for compelling a single stoker to kneel in November, 1906, when he was reproved for impertinence. The court acquitted Collard for ordering stokers to kneel just before the disturbance occurred in November last.
