Mr MoHab’s Tour.

Auckland, November, 30. Mr McNab addressed a meeting on the Land Bill. A ,? resolution was carried to the effect-that no alteration should bo made in the existing land law whereby the oj>iional system would be done away with, especially as the evidence before the Land Commission was entirely in favour of the freehold. This was carried by a large majority in the form of an amendment to a motidh expressing approval of the Land Bill, the supporters shouting “ Freehold,” “ Freehold ”as they held up their hands. The motion was carried unanimously.

Auckland, November 30.

Mr McNab, Minister of Lands, addressed a large meeting at Otahuhu to-night, when a vote of thanks to the Minister and confidence in the Government was carried. An amendment in favour of the optional system of tenure was negatived.
