ISLAND FOR "LOAFERS.”
LONDON, NOV. 27,
The Distress Committee at Glasgow has purchased the island of Shuna,, which it intends to transform into a labour colony. It is proposed to draft habitual ' ‘ loafers ' ’ to the. island.
The island ot Shuna is part of Argyllshire, and is one mile southwest of' the entrance to Doch Melford. Its area is one and threequarter square miles.
