HAZELL’S PICTURES.
The theatre going public of Foxton will no doubt be interested to learn that the above company (as advertised elsewhere) are paying us a visit for a short season o two nights, commencing Monday next, 26th. ~• The “ Manawatu Farmer, speaking of the performance, says : ; “ The moving pictures shown 'were both new to a Devin audience and new from the factory. They were clear and steady, and the annoying flicker which accompanies most of the pictures of this class was absent on this occasion. 1 “ e films embrace a wide range ot subjects, including foreign scenes, illusion and comedy. The audience admired and warmly applauded the exhibition from beginning to end, and laughed heartily at the splendid comedy and illusion films ; the ‘Guzzler’s Dream’ in particular being a masterpiece of its kind. We can heartily recommend the entertainment provided by Hazell s company to the patronage of the playgoers of the town when an opportunity is afforded of witnessing so grand a display of pictures.
