ODDFELLOWSHIP.

The usual fortnightly meeting of the M.U.1.0.0.F. Loyal Foxton Lodge took place on Tuesday, Bth inst., when there were 25 members present. N. G. Bro. Ingram duly opened the lodge and V. G. Bro. Thompson occupied the V. G. chair. Three new members were admitted into the mysteries of Oddfellowship, which makes a grand total of nearly 100 financial members. Amongst the correspondence received was the resignation of Lodge Dr Bennett, who is about to leave the district to follow up a rural life. Bro. Hickson proposed and Bro. Hussey seconded, That this lodge accept Dr Bennett’s resignation with regret. After other business had been transacted pertaining to the welfare of the lodge, N. G. Bro. Ingram declared the lodge in harmony when a very pleasant half hour was spent. Next lodge night starts a euchre and draught tou'rnament.
