BOATING ITEMS.

The drawing of crews which are to take place in a pair oared outrigger competition took place in Mr Rough’s rooms on Thursday night, the result being : —Messrs Gordon (stroke), J, Walker (bow) row R. G. Hickson and E. Chalmers; A. E. Shadbolt (stroke) L. McCarthy (bow) row A. R. McPouald and M. Littlejohn ; W. J. Gardner (stroke), E. Walker (bow) row R. Grace and W. Shields ; J. Marsh (stroke), J. W. Rough (bow) a bye._ The crews are going into active work at once, as the first of these events takes place on or about 26th inst.
