WEIGHT - GUESSING COMPETITION.

The results of the three wciglitjueging competitions at recent Show are now available. the animals were slaughtered at the abattoirs on Saturday morning, and duly weighed in the presence of the, A. and P. Association’s officials, the winners are as follows :—Five sheep, weight 3791 b, H Waltham, Rongotea, 37Sib. first; 8. .1. Gibbons, Levin, 37741 b, second. Single sheep, weight 951 b, T. Bidgway, Carterton, exact weight, first; P. Murray, Woodville, f)s|lb, second. Single bullock, weight HB4lb, H. V. Penman, Palmerston, and ILL. Jacob, Pahiatua, both guessed the exact weight, and divide the prize money equally. In each instance there were a large number of guesses very close to the winning ones.
