Competitors leaving their mark before ' the pistol is fired will be put back one yard for each offence, and anyone no* j going back when required may be dis--1 qualified.

Any competitor found jostling will lie .immediately disqualified. All protests must be made within 15 minutes of race finishing, accompanied with a deposit of 10s, which will be forfeited should the protest be considered frivolous ; and all protests against competitors entering under false, or incorrect performances shall bo decided at 8 o’clock in the evening, or later, if the committee deem necessary and all prize money held over. No competitor's shall be allowed to sit on any protest or give any information unless asked for. The Committee reserve the right to postpone the sports from day to day should the weather prove unfavourable, and their decision shall be final in carrying out the programme, Costumes to be approved of by the Committee, and any competitor not making the required declaration shall not be entitled to claim any prize. Refreshment Booth on the ground. Special trains front Palmerston North, A special tram will run from Pukenui and Sanson. A Brass' Band will be in attendance Concert in the evening. Programmes can be obtained on application to the secretary. First race to start at 11.15 sharp. Trains will stop at the ground. ! Admission to ground: Adults Is, Children under 12 half price, i F. D.
