RANJITSINHJI.

London, October 31

Ranjitsinhji has petitioned Mr Morley, Secretary for India, to support his claim to the rulership of Navanagar.

It was cabled in August that the Jam of Navanagar, whose father adopted Ranjitsinhji (the wellknown cricketer), had died without leaving an heir. It was then stated that there was a possibility ot Ranjitsinhji succeeding him.
