BANKRUPTCY.
James Francis Carroll, labourer, of Foxton, was yesterday adjudged a bankrupt on his own petition. The statement of assets and liabilities shows a deficiency of £lO9 2s yd. The total debts, all unsecured creditors, amount to £129 2s yd. The unsecured creditors are as follows:—J. Prior, Feilding, £33 18s 3d ; Jones and McGregor, £6 18s 6d ; W. B. Clark, 15s rod; F. Watson, £3 4s 6d; C. Scales, £2 9s; W. J. Croucher, £3 15s ; J. Croucher, £1 ; Champion and King, £lO 2s 1 id; all of Bulls. C. H. Blackler, £3 lys 9d; and Sawmilling Company, £1 ns id, of Rongotea; A. Cockburn, £ll xys; J. Harris, £3 ;A. McNae £4 16s 3d; A. Davis £3; T. Sanson, £iy 4s; and Anderson and Son, £l2 8s ; all of Sanson. The first meeting of creditors will be held at Palmerston on Tuesday November 6th.
