FOXTON RACING CLUB.

A meeting of the Committee of the above Club was held last evening. Present—Messrs Barber (chair), J, Symons, A. Symons, G. Gray, A. Laing, 0. Robinson, C. Robinson, A. Shadbolt, H. Austin, F. Jenks and A. Keith (secretary.) The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Secretary submitted a programme for ensuing meeting showing an increase of divided between the two days, totalling tor the two days and after discussion it was proposed by Mr Austin and seconded by Mr Symons that the programme as submitted be approved.—Carried. Messrs Laing, Gray and J. Symons were elected a course committee. Messrs Heurys, Gillies and Cameron were reappointed, Handicapper, Judge, and Starter respectively. It was resolved that the whole of the Stewards go out to the Racecourse at an early date to decide on suggested improvements required, 1 Drs Mandl and Wilson and Messrs S, Chisholm and E. j ! Wanklyn were elected members of the club. Drs B nnett and Mandl were appointed Hon. Surgeons to Club. Several accounts were passed for payment and a vote of thanks to the chair concluded the meeting-
