Young Woman Stabs a Policeman.

Auckland, Oct. 12. A young woman, Ada Jameson, while being conveyed in a cab to the lock-up in a drunken condition last night, stabbed Constable Murray, who was accompanying her, and inflicted wounds on one of his hands and a knee. The Constable was removed to the Hospital. At the Police Court this morning she pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly. In regard to the charge of stabbing the constable, Sub-Inspector Gordon asked for a remand for a week. The remand was granted.
