On Tuesday night the above popular company appear at the Town Hall in a new spectacular Irish play entitled “ Evicted ” Built on familiar lines and liberally endowed with orthodox elements of Irish melodrama, “ Evicted ” implies concisely just the style of play so dear to the heart of the Irish dramatist. .The company also, is as familiar as is the style of the play. Mr Charlie Taylor and Miss Ella Carrington are well and favourably known from one end of New Zealand to the other, and they are, and have been for a good many years, supported by a firstda ;s compuiy. In “ Evicted ” some very beautiful scenic effects are introduced, and the play abounds in music, song, and dance so Foxton playgoers may anticipate a treat in the T. C. presentment of ‘ ‘ Evicted. ’ ’
