A BOROUGH’S LIABILITY.
Carterton, October 1. Acting on behalf of H. H. Welters, Jas. Stevens, and the estate of the late C. J. Tully, the Sheriff (Mr E. Rawson) to-day entered into possession of the whole of the Carterton Borough property lor non-payment within sixty days of awards totalling as compensation for the borough resumption ofj the septic tank site.
