ANTI-NEGRO RIOTS.

New York, Sept, 25. The negroes at Atlanta, the capital of Georgia, where shocking fatal riots occurred the other day, ambushed and killed a police officer and wounded four out of ten constables. The rest of the officers retaliated, killing several negroes. The New York “ Evening PostV states that the Atlanta outbreak is the result of a campaign of denunciation of negroes which the politicians and press of Georgia have pursued during the past six months. One newspaper offered a reward ot one thousand dollars for killing every negro accused of assaulting a white woman.
