The Hon. R. McNab, Minister for Lands, arrived in Pal nerston by this morning’s express, and is the guest ot Mr W. T. Wood, M.H.R. A London cable states that during the past season A. F. Wilding (New Zealand) competed in 23 lawn tennis tournaments and v/ou the singles in seventeen cases. Monsieur and Madame Humbert, of the Paris frauds fame, will be released to-day.
