Selling Indecent Post Cards.

Auckland, Yesterday. Mr Kettle, S.M., gave judgment in the charges of selling indecent post cards against Barney Barripp. He held that the cards known as “Reflections,” “Psyche,” “A Ballet Dancer,” and “ The Australian Native Bear,” were clearly libidinous intended to have an indecent, immoral !and . obscene effect, and calculated to have a pernicious influence depraving, demoralising and debauching the minds of persons, especially boys and girls, into whose hands they might come, besides prejudicing good morals. As defendant was previously fined a nominal penalty of 5s and costs was inflicted in each case.
