At a meeting of the Sub-Union held yesterday at 12.45 p.m., at the Manawatu Hotel, there were present:—Messrs H. Austin (in the chair), A. Davis, J. Jillett, F. Robinson, S. Wright, J. Frew, A. Shadbolt, J. Williams, and F. G. Sutherland (secretary). The business was to decide the AlhionAvvahou protest, and after much evidence had been called and discussed, a proposal that the protest be not upheld was carried on the casting vote of the chairman. Votes of thanks to the chair and to Mr Shadbolt for use of room concluded the business. Albions and Saudon juniors played a drawn game at the racecourse yesterday afternoon, scoring 5 points each. Mr J. Frew held the whistle. This draw mean that another match between these two teams is necessary to decide the K. Coley Cup.
