THE NIGHT SOU, CONTRACT. A special meeting of the Foxton Borough Council was held yesterday morning to deal with the nightsoil contractor’s resignation. Present: Crs Stiles (chairman), Coley, Gray, Shadbolt, Moore and Baker. The unsatisfactory manner in Avhich this unsavoury subject has been attended to was discussed by councillors, and it was resolved, on the motion of Cr Baker, seconded by Cr Coley, that Mr Feek be appointed till end of year, in place of James Haack resigned.
