Wedding.
r DUNN—CABSIN. A very pretty wedding- was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church yesterday when Mr Blrnest D. Duin, Eldest sou of Mrs A. was United to Miss Annie Cassin, Oi Invercargill. The Rev. Bather Schafier, of Otaki, performed the ceremony which was witnessed b\ a number of friends and relations. The bride was attired in a travelling costume of navy blue clo-.h with cream trimmings, navy blue hat, trimmed with banksia roses, imd' carried a beautiful shower bouquet presented by the bridegroom’s mother, ihe bride was attended by, Miss Thompson (Dunedin) who wore a pale blue cashmere costume, cream trimmings, black hat trimmed with pale blue; Misses Bllsie and Evelyn Reeve, sisters of the bridegroom, attired in cardinal velvet dresses and white, silk hats, ihe bridesmaids each carried shower bouquets. Mr Jas. Dunn officiated as best man and Mr Richard Hickson as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests, upwards of 60 in number, were entertained at Kainga Koa ” the charming residence df the Bridegroom’s parents, where Mr G. Wright proposed the toast of the bride and bridegroom. The bridegroom’s present to the bride was a handsome gold brooch and to the bridesmaids gold chains. The mother of the bridegroom’s present to the bride was a gold chain and greenstone pendant and a pair of gold links to the bridegroom. The bridegroom’s father’s present to the couple took the form of’ a substantial cheque. There were many other presents fropi relations and friends. The honeymoon is to be spent at Invercargill, prior to settling down in Foxton. The Herald joins with the many friends of Mr and Mrs Dunn in wishing them health and happiness.
