Sale of Mr Simpson’s Mill

BOUGHT BY MR GIFFORD MOORE. We received a communication just before going to press that Mi Gifford Moore, solicitor, of Palmerston North, was the successful purchaser at Palmerston for Mr Simpson’s flaxrmll and cutting rights on the Watatapia Estate. The above concern was knocked down to him for the sum of £2,600. Bidding was fairly brisk by millers from different parts of the district.
