Broady’s Vaudeville Coy.
TO-NIGHT. The above company are billed to play to-night at the Foxton Public Hall. The programme to be produced will be the ever bright minstrel first part, with plenty of good songs, dances, and gags, ending up with a sidesplitting farce. Illustrated songs and some humourous pictures by Edison’s latest biograpb. will be shown. The press notices of the papers in the Auckland, Wairarapa and Taranaki districts speak highly of Broady’s Coy., who have been touring in those districts for the past seven months. The first part of the programme is entitled “ High Fife on Board Ship.” The ship scene is said to be a splendid picture of the quarter deck of a large vessel. The artists consist of the Mayho Sisters, song and dance artists ; J. C. Bryant, ventriloquist and singer; Pearl Wilton, serio; the Mahers, Irish sketch artists and dancers ; H. Collins, coon singer and comedian ; Marie Masters, the contralto balladiste; and 0. Hyatt, musical director. A bright sparkling programme, and a good evening’s enjoyment is all that is asked by theatre-goers, and judging from the bills this will be provided by the above company.
