NOTES
Manawatu Union have suggested Saturday week as a date for the return rep. match with our reps. This date has been accepted by Foxton. Jeffries is-unable to accompany the team to Levin on Saturday, and Joe will play in his stead. All those who have blue and black guernseys [are requested to bring same with them. Manawatu rep fixtures will unfortunately interfere with the completion of Cup fixtures in both Foxton and Palmerston North districts this year. Some alterations in arrangements will be necessary next year to meet with this difficulty. There will be seating accommodation for anyone wishing to accompany the team to Levin on Saturday next. The brake leaves at 12 o’clock. Mr A. Mcßain, the selector, has picked the following to represent Horowhenua against Foxton reps, next Saturday:—Full-back, Anderson ; three-quarters, Cook, F. Cootes, Rawire; five-eight, S. Cootes ; half, Bright; wings, King and Potts ; forwards, Chalk, Wilson, George, Saxon, Parata, Mackenzie, R. Sevan.
