CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE FAVOURS PREFERENCE. London, July n. At the Chambers of Commerce Congress a preferential motion was carried by 107 Chambers in favour, with 34 against. Twentyone remained neutral, including the Melbourne, Sydney, Hobart, and Launceston Chambers. All the other Australasian Chambers approved.
